Need a Break from the City?

Shadow Lake Centre is a friendly vacation destination, located on over 300 acres of beautiful rolling terrain on the Oak Ridges Moraine, just 45 minutes north of downtown Toronto. We’re open all year long.

During the summer months, Shadow Lake Centre provides a co-educational, residential camping program for people of all ages with an intellectual disability.

The rest of the year, we rent our facilities and property to community groups. Some of the groups who currently enjoy our facilities are schools, churches, youth and yoga groups, scouts, guides, air cadets and movie shoots.
