Heather Dunn
Community Participation Supports & Respite
Heather Dunn is the Senior Program Manager of Community Participation Supports & Respite at Community Living Toronto. Heather is passionate about creating inclusive opportunities where people can build connections, develop skills, and have meaningful experiences in their communities. She is excited to support another season at Shadow Lake Centre and looks forward to seeing campers, staff, and families make lasting memories together this summer.
Angela Bradley
Social Enterprise & Philanthropy
Angela is the Social Enterprise & Philanthropy at Community Living Toronto. She has been involved with the charitable sector both personally and professionally for most of her life. Since graduating with an Honours degree in psychology from Queen’s University, has completed post-graduate work at York University in not-for profit management and is a degree seeking student in the MBA program of the School of Business and Non-profit Management at North Park University.
Muhammed Irshad
Camp Director
Muhammed has been with Community Living Toronto for over 30 years, going all the way back to when he worked three summers at Shadow Lake in 1987, 1988 and 1989. After graduating from the Humber College Developmental Services Worker (DSW) program in 1991, Muhammed started working full time with Community Living Toronto. He has since supervised and managed both residential and day support programs. Muhammed was the Manager of Shadow Lake Centre for five years before becoming the Camp Director in the summer of 2021.
Marisa Grasse
Property Manager
Marisa has been overseeing the property and facilities at Shadow Lake since 2001. She is responsible for ensuring that all buildings are clean and in good working order, the management of all new building projects, and meeting all health and safety requirements. Marisa comes from a landscaping background and is certified in the Operation of Small Drinking Water Systems. Previous employers include the Children’s Aid Society and Black Creek Pioneer Village.
Sara Khanji
Camp Supervisor
Sara began her journey “at the lake” in 2022 as a Healthcare Team member. In 2023, she had the opportunity to lead an amazing team as Healthcare Coordinator while aspiring to become a medical student. By 2025, Sara stepped into the role of Camp Supervisor, bringing passion, leadership, and a deep love for our community.
Being part of a close-knit community like Shadow Lake has been a thrilling and rewarding experience for her. She enjoys playing table tennis and loves to travel, having visited over 20 countries so far! Her favorite part of camp is connecting with guests and working in a role that aligns with her passions.
Charlotte Summerhayes
Program Coordinator
For Charlotte, Shadow Lake is more than just a camp, it’s her home away from home. She’s back, once again, for her fifth summer and ready to camp it up in full force as this year’s Counselling Coordinator!
After starting out as a counsellor and spending time on the healthcare team, she’s found her stride right in the heart of the action. Charlotte’s all about stepping outside of comfort zones, finding joy in the little things, and creating a space where everyone feels like they truly belong. This place holds her heart and she couldn’t be more excited to make this summer the best one yet!
Anastasia Sullivan
Healthcare Coordinator
Anastasia began working at Shadow Lake Centre in 2022 as a Meal Planner and immediately fell in love with camp. After her first year, she transitioned into the role of Healthcare Staff and now holds the role of Healthcare Coordinator.
Currently pursuing a Master’s in Health Sciences, Anastasia brings her academic background and passion for wellness to her position at camp. She has loved helping ensure that guests stay safe and have fun while on vacation, and is looking forward to another great summer at the lake!
Fatima Shah
Office Administrator
Fatima supports the day-to-day administrative operations of camp and is often one of the first points of contact for guests and families. She helps ensure that everything behind the scenes runs smoothly throughout the season.
Amy Reid
Counselling Coordinator (A)
Amy supports the counselling team and helps ensure guests have a positive, welcoming, and meaningful experience throughout their stay. She is passionate about building connections and fostering a strong camp community.
Amy Gervais-Teixeira
Counselling Coordinator (B)
Amy works closely with guests and staff to help create a fun, inclusive, and memorable camp experience. She looks forward to welcoming both new and returning guests to Shadow Lake Centre this summer!
Sheetal Nashier
ONA Coordinator (A)
Sheetal helps oversee the overnight guest experience and supports the day-to-day operations of camp. She is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where guests can connect, grow, and enjoy all that Shadow Lake Centre has to offer.
Nwanneka "Emeka" Emeka
ONA Coordinator (B)
Emeka supports overnight programming and works closely with guests and staff throughout the camp season. She is passionate about fostering connection, community, and memorable experiences at the lake.
Eric McHale
Maintenance Coordinator
Eric oversees the maintenance and upkeep of the property, helping ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests, staff, and visitors. His work plays an important role in keeping camp running smoothly throughout the season.
