About SHADOW LAKE CENTRE
Since 1965, Shadow Lake Centre has been proudly owned and operated by Community Living Toronto, offering camp experiences for people of all abilities. Located in Stouffville, Ontario, Shadow Lake offers:
Summer Camps for people with an intellectual disability
Year-Round Camps for people with an intellectual disability
PA Day Camps for children and youth of all abilities
Facility Rentals for community and corporate groups
Each summer (June-August), the camp comes alive with over 500 campers and 100 dedicated staff, offering a safe, fun, and empowering environment where campers choose their own activities and make memories that last a lifetime.
Our Year-Round Camps (September–April) extend the joy of summer through fall, winter, and spring with Day, Weekend, and Week-Long camps. These sessions let campers explore nature, try new activities, and stay connected with friends all year.
From September to May, our beautiful lakeside property hosts different community groups looking for a peaceful getaway. With two fully furnished houses, seven cozy cabins, a dining hall, and a commercial kitchen, Shadow Lake is the perfect space to gather, connect, and recharge in nature.
Our PA Day Camps welcome children and youth of all abilities for single-day adventures filled with outdoor play, crafts, and friendship!
